Astellas Pharma US employees from PCP/Specialty Sales participated in an Astellas-sponsored Habitat for Humanity build with the organization’s chapter in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. The team volunteered to start a renovation project to restore a house for a young family.

“Our team of eight Astellas employees and the new homeowner were able to check off the items on the ‘to-do’ list, ranging from interior and exterior projects,” said Laurelee Harper, professional representative I, PCP & Specialty. “The removal of the old boiler, appliances and carpet as well as a complete landscaping cleanup were just a few of the major accomplishments of the day.”

Astellas and Habitat partnered to set up other events across the United States for Astellas employees to help build homes for families in need. Events took place in Boston, Los Angeles, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Monmouth County, New Jersey.
