COVID-19 Response Update

At Astellas, the health and well-being of our employees, patients and communities is of high importance. In an effort to help contain the spread of COVID-19, we have requested that our U.S. field-based employees, including sales representatives, medical science liaisons (MSLs) and other field medical teams, account managers, and access & reimbursement personnel suspend all in-person activities with healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders until further notice. We have also encouraged employees within our U.S. facilities and affiliates to work from home, have restricted international and domestic travel, and suspended participation in large external events through June 2020. These are temporary, preventative steps to protect healthcare providers, patients, our employees and communities against exposure to COVID-19, in alignment with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations regarding social distancing and avoiding large groups and local state/city guidance.
